Canopy blocks are generally available

Canopy blocks are now generally available. August also brought nested blocks and a run of new field types, so a block can pull in collections, entries, forms, blogs and posts.

Introducing Canopy blocks

Canopy blocks are here: custom, reusable templates that the developer controls and editors fill in. Cassette previews also get an address of their own, so they are easier to share with clients.

A new look across Blutui

Every part of Blutui has a new interface, from the Console to the Dashboard. Alongside it come fixes for search, Cassette ordering and publishing.

Collections and their fields in one request

The Project API can now create a collection and its fields in one request, and the Console hands you a Cassette's courier.json ready to copy.

Automatic sitemaps and wildcard redirects

Search is easier to manage: every project now has an automatic sitemap, redirects take wildcards, and pages and posts can be kept out of search. Agencies can also sign in with single sign-on.

AI spam detection for forms

Form submissions are now checked for spam by AI, and forms and their submissions are available in the Project Admin API.
