Laracon Convo’s
The Serendipitous Value of Conferencing

When our Lead Developer Jayan returned to the Blutui studio after Laracon US25 in Denver, Colorado, he brought with him a bag of swag, patches, caps and stickers, and along with the suitcase of fresh merch, and more importantly, a mind full of ideas. But beyond the buzz of keynotes, tech reveals, and golf day chats, what really stood out was something a little harder to measure: serendipity.
You go to a conference like Laracon expecting to learn, and he certainly did, but what surprised us most was how he learned. Some of the most valuable insights came not from the main stage, but from chance conversations over flat whites, side-of-stage introductions, and unexpected encounters with the people behind the tools we use, or will use, in the Blutui app.
From one such encounter, Jayan was introduced to a founder whose tech we’ve since begun integrating into our stack, a direct result of their chat. That connection didn’t come from a pitch deck or a sales call. It came from a shared curiosity, a mutual respect for tech, and the kind of spontaneous exchange you can only get when you bring sharp minds together in the same physical space.
At Blutui, we’ve always believed in looking beyond the obvious. We’re builders, so we gravitate toward tools and ideas that unlock new possibilities for agencies and creatives using our platform. That means staying plugged into the community, even when it takes us halfway around the world.
Laracon US25 was more than a conference, it was a collision of ideas and a meeting place for like minds. Some of the chats Jayan had are already live in the app. Others are still marinating in the lab. But all of them started with a conversation.
And if you’re wondering, yes, the stickers look great on the Fiat.
